The Evening Rush.
11:00 pm in a Black Saturday night, EDSA corner Ayala Avenue.
10:30 pm, I left my supervisor's carpool and went down at corner Arnaiz Street to catch a bus going to Baclaran. Several minutes passed and not a single bus passed by, so I decided to walk all the way to Ayala only to find a jam packed bus of my trip.
I let it pass. I'm sure there'd be another one that'l pass by soon. There were lots of busses heading to Alabang all over the place, afterall. And there's no way I'm gonna get myself squished (or squish someone for that matter) inside that vehicle, uh-uh! Not this time!
So I waited.
...
Ten minutes...
Twenty...
Brrr... The next Baclaran bus arrived, got photographed, and posted here.
I sprinted my way up to the Alabang-bound bus that stopped sight beside me as soon as i had the photo saved. There were just a handful of passengers inside that I would've cartwheeled in the isle if only I could.
Now it's 12:00 am. Home safe and just about to publish this post.

Vintage tank.
An unusual company as i were commuting on a bus at the Coastal Road, high noon on a Black Saturday. Curious what they're up to. A couple of vintage tanks, two old military trucks and a modified commercial pick up truck convoyed the highway, carrying soldiers in full battle gear.
Not really the sight you'd want to see specially in a turbulent country like the Philippines, you know? But then pity always gets the better of of me everytime i see our troops having to put up with such lousy equipments. Brrr...
